A 2015 Toyota GT86 Giallo Edition. Daily driver, track day beast, and the inspiration behind the whole brand.
I bought my 2015 Toyota GT86 Giallo Edition as a second owner in 2018 and — no word of a lie — my only ambitions were to change the headlights and rear lights. Fast forward eight years and only now have I finally upgraded my headlights! Between that time the modding bug truly ravaged me, and my sweet GT86 has become a beast of its own.

Ohh, if I had a penny for all the times this has been mentioned I would be able to support a thousand charities! Yes, there is no denying that the yellow and black colours remind us of everyone’s favourite Transformer. However, Bumblebee will always be a Chevy Camaro — so therefore my car will always be Wolverine.
Wolverine is my daily driver and track day beast. It is the talk of the playground and also the inspiration behind my brand. Named after Marvel’s Wolverine, I focus not on his animalistic rage and adamantium claws but on his most powerful mutant talent — his ability to heal. Famously, despite his incredible healing factor, Marvel’s Wolverine endures every bit of pain and trauma that we do. His resilience, fortitude and strength always see him through, and this is the facet of the character that I hope to draw the most attention to. Marvel’s Wolverine also has a rich connection to Japanese culture which, combined with the make of my car, lends itself perfectly to the Japanese philosophies that uphold Project Kuzuri.
This car is not just for looks. Under the vented carbon fibre bonnet sits a 2.0L boxer engine that has been turbocharged to produce a limited 300bhp. That power is ably supported by Tein Flex A suspension fitted with EDFC Active Pro for real-time dampener adjustments on the fly. Planting the power to the ground are 18×8.5 lightweight, flow-formed alloy wheels from JR Wheels and an AP Racing big brake kit for plenty of stopping power. Nothing is more satisfying than flying around a race track by day and still being able to bring the groceries home by night!
